Hi all, I'm back from zombie land, although I still get tired out really quickly. Between you & me, I think it's the antibiotics that are zonking me out - they're the size of horse pills!
Today's share are the projects we did at our team shoebox swap on the Friday night before the Stampin' Up! Regionals in London ... there were thirteen projects in all, and thanks to Samantha who made some for me, I managed to come home with all thirteen.
As always, you can click on each photo for a close up look. I've listed the creators for all I can remember - let me know if I goofed up!
These two were both created by Ruth, using the Top Note Die for the Big Shot. The background on the "Totally Tool" card (#113256, $30.95, page 47) is stamped repeatedly with the saw stamp in Chocolate Chip ink, and the saw on the card front is cut out, coloured and raised with Stampin' Dimensionals. The cheerful blue & green card uses "Cheep Talk" (#113204, $31.95, page 90)

These next two cards were designed by Erica, who unfortunately couldn't attend, but we made sure she got a sample of each in return. Everyone raved over the "Fifth Avenue Floral" card (#113734, $29.95, page 106)! Erica ran several of the layers of card stock through the Big Shot using Stampin' Up!'s Texturz Plates (#114512, $14.25, page 203). Her second card makes good use of the "Rasperry Tart" Designer Series papers (#113975, $11.75, page 160) and the "Crazy for Cupcakes" set (#111618, $28.95, page 41)
This was Kathy's creation: an adorable pouch filled with gift tags! The pouch was cut from "Good Morning Sunshine" DSP (#113966, $11.75, page 160) with the Pillow Box die on the Big Shot. She trimmed one end using Stampin' Up!'s new Eyelet Border punch (#113692, $19.95, page 184). The flower on the belly band is a Big Shot Sizzlet die called "Sparkle" (#113444, $5.95, page 200), and the stamps on the tags come from "Lovely Labels" (#115028, $17.95, page 141)
Next we have a cute 4x4 card with an adorable purse made completely using Stampin' Up! square and circle punches ... you know how much I love punchart! Samantha used "Bella Rose" DSP (#112041, $11.75, page 159) and the ribbon is Whisper White Taffeta (#109070, $8.95, page 179)
Another "5th Avenue Floral" card (this set is my best seller!) made this time by Marianne, who stamped the largest rose on "Riding Hood Red" card stock with Whisper White Craft ink, cut it out & raised it with Stampin' Dimensionals. The other two flowers have a splash of Dazzling Diamonds.
Heather isn't an Artful*Inker team member, but is always a welcome guest. I love the colour scheme on this card, using "Nature Silhouettes" (#111542, $26.95, page 102), Baja Breeze, Pacific Point and Bordering Blue card stock. The DSP comes from the Baja Breeze Patterns Pack (#112157. $11.75, page 159).
Another 4x4 card, this time stamped by Kathryn, aka the Rogue Stamper."Rockabilly Specialty Paper" is what really makes this card pop - the green stripes and the little skulls are all raised & shiny - the paper comes that way! (#114039, $13.95, page 158). Kathryn stamped the flower in black ink on pink card stock, then cut it out and layered it with a green "Five Petal Punch". Two different ribbons and a greeting punched with the "Word window Punch" add the perfect details.
Wilma's card puts me in the Spring mood for sure - I think this is my fav new colour combo: Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point. The greeting comes from "Dreams du Jour" (#111624, $22.95, page 80), the flowers and humming bird are from a level three Hostess set called "Dream a Little" (page 21) and the grass is from Inspired By Nature (#111656, $28.95, dormant list)
And finally, my three projects - two you've seen before on my blog, so I wont' go into detail again. The third uses up some of my "Rasperry Tart" DSP stash - I can't seem to get rid of it! Card stock is Cameo Coral and Rose Red - two colours that I would NEVER put together, but with this paper, they work. Go figure. I used the "Scallop Edge Punch" on both sides of a two inch strip of card stock, then trimmed the ends on an angle. I used up the last of my favourite Satin Ribbon (#111879, $9.95, page 179) and had to borrow some from Kathryn (your replacement is on it's way!)
Can you believe I forgot to bring the stamp set to the shoebox swap for my coaster project? Considering the way I was feeling, I'm surprised that's ALL I forgot.
I promised to stamp the owl, phrase & heart for everyone & either deliver or mail it to them so they can finish this at home. All three stamps come from the level three Hostess Set "goody-Goody Gumdrops" (page 19).
I hope you've enjoyed seeing these projects - I'll be back tomorrow with more from Regionals!
