Wow, it's already a week since my big CANADA DAY BASH and I don't know where the time has gone! Think I'll blame it on this record heat wave we're having in Ontario <grin>
FIRST THINGS FIRST ... I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who came out and supported my event on July 1st - your enthusiasm, encouragement, and well, sheer NUMBERS made me and my team feel that all the hours of preparation were worth it.
We cleared out a lot of retired stamps, card stock, ink pads and Designer Series papers, as well as almost 900 retired card samples - WAHOO! I'm glad that so many things found new homes and now I have space to fill those shelves with NEW PRODUCTS for you to enjoy.
Of course, the main reason for our success were the wonderful helpers I had this year .. thank you, thank you, thank you to my brave hubby for set-up, take-down, and especially for spending all afternoon in the freebie tent with all those bargain-hunting ladies; to Leigh-Ann & Dion for spending HOURS bagging up all the make & takes, card stock and sample cards; to Barbara for sewing together the squares of my Big Shot quilt when I ran out of time to do it myself, and to Jessica and Scott for manning the kids table and BBQ all afternoon - you two were a big hit with the younger crowd!
A lot of customers were interested in the BIG SHOT CLUB, judging by all the flyers that were picked up .. now I need you to email or phone me to sign up - as soon as we have four people registered for either OPTION A (if you don't own a Big Shot machine yet) or OPTION B (if you already have a Big Shot), we can start - it runs for four months, so July or August is our ideal time to start. For more information about the Big Shot Club, click here.
Now that everything in the Studio is back in order (well, sort of) I'm back in the office and rarin' to post - products from the new 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue should be arriving soon & I can't wait to show you the stuff people are making!
