There are lots of opportunities to stamp with me besides the traditional hostess workshop...

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

• QUICK-AND-EASY CARD CLASS: Quick, uncomplicated & easy to reproduce ... that's the style of the cards we'll be making in this class. I'll design four new cards every month; you make two of each one during the class - one to keep and one to give away! A variety of greeting stamps will be available for you to choose from; that way you can make specific cards for your family's birthdays, anniversaries, or other special occasions in your life. COST: $25. Payment is required in advance to reserve your seat. In the event you cannot attend, you will still receive your pre-cut package of card stock & embellishments. My STAMPERS' CLUB members may choose this class as their monthly perk and pay only $5. ARTFUL*iNKERS team members may attend and pay only $5. Advance registration is required.

• STEP-IT-UP CARD CLASS: (NEW IN 2010) Ready for some more challenging cards ... cards with moving parts, unusual stamping techniques, more embellishments and layers? Let's STEP-IT-UP!
  I'll teach 3 different ideas each month, with 3 FULL-CARD projects for you to make. Due to the extra time each card will take, we'll only be making one of each project, for a total of 3 cards to take home and WOW your family and friends! COST: $25. Payment is required in advance to reserve your seat. My STAMPERS' CLUB members may choose this class as their monthly perk and pay only $5. ARTFUL*iNKERS team members may attend and pay only $5. Advance registration is required.

• "MOM & ME" CLASS: Bring your child(ren) for an afternoon of fun crafts, to celebrate various holidays throughout the year. Projects are suitable for 4-12 years of age, with parental help. COST: $10 per child (Stampers Club members may choose this class as their monthly class and pay only $5 with one child or $10 with two children)

• RIBBON SHARE - Satin Ribbon from the Occasions Mini: Feb 2010 IS FULL & CLOSED!

MY SPECIAL EVENTS:

• GIRLS NIGHT OUT (GNO): Offered on two Fridays each month; drop by to work on your own stamping & scrapping projects with no interruptions! All of my stamps, tools & inks are at your disposal; please provide your own cardstock, adhesives & embellishments. Light refreshments provided. COST: $5 (FREE to my Stampers Club Members & my Artful*Inkers Demonstrator Team). Please call ahead to reserve your spot as spaces are limited.

• GIRLS AFTERNOON OUT (GAO): Same deal as above, offered on two Wednesday afternoons each month from 12:30 - 4:30 pm. Please call ahead to reserve your spot.

• CARD-MAKING MARATHON: This special class is offered just before Christmas and again in the spring ... making a ton of quick & easy cards from Simply Scrappin' Kits. The next event (Birthday Cards) is scheduled for April 2010 & will be announced on my Events Calendar soon!

• FRIENDS & FAMILY CARD BEE:  Families have been gathering at my stampin' studio to stock up on Birthday cards or to get a head start on their Christmas cards while enjoying an afternoon or evening stamping together, making as many cards as they want @ $2 per card. Do you have a group who would like to do the same? Call me to book a date! Also available for Valentines, Scrapbooking or project theme of your choice.

• DEMONSTRATOR "STAMP-4-FUN" DAYS: Once each quarter I host a day of stamping fun for my Artful*Inkers team of demonstrators and invited guests - just one of the many perks of buying the starter kit & joining my team! Did you know that many of my "girls" have chosen to be "hobby demonstrators"? That means that they never hold workshops or classes; instead they simply keep up their minimum sales by purchasing for themselves, their family & friends. Believe it or not, that's how I started with Stampin' Up! too - just to get the discount & support my own hobby! Want more information? Hi Donna:

I have to say I am a little overwhelmed at all the information on your website. I am just moving into the Guelph area, and wanted somewhere to continue to do my scrapping/cardmaking. I stumbled on your website and wondered if you can give me a simplified version of what you do and where you are located. I belonged to Southern Ontario Stampers in Toronto, and love to get together with others to continue to learn and grow. Anyway, I was wondering what, where, when and who????

Hi Linda, it's good to hear from you!

I used to know a couple of people associated with the stamp group in Toronto; welcome to Guelph!

If you are looking for a place to work on your own projects alongside others who share the passion, then I recommend you start with one of my Girls Night Out sessions - they are scheduled on the last Friday of each month and the Friday 2 weeks prior to the last one (identified as the GNO-mid month and the GNO-end of month on my events calendar)

There is no instruction at GNO, but there sure is a lot of sharing and chatter!

And, if you'd like to come over just to chat with me & check out my studio, just name a date & time and I'll put the kettle on!
