COME SEE ME ON FRIDAY!

This Friday I'll be at the Sellers Market at the West End Community Centre in Guelph with a table full of hand-stamped cards and gifts for sale - made by yours truly AND a few of the many talented members of my demonstrator team. Come on out and take a look .. we'll have lots of great things to put in those Easter baskets - Easter's only a couple of weeks away!

I'll also be selling my retired stamps at my booth - these stamps are no longer available through Stampin' Up! and while I hate to part with any of my stamp collection, there's only so much room on the "wall of rubbah" and darn it all, Stampin' Up! keeps coming out with great new stamp sets that I just gotta have! <grin>

Here's a peak at my retired sets.. I'll be at the WECC from 9 am - 6 pm, on Imperial Rd in Guelph, north of Paisley Rd (north of Zehrs Super Store) - hope to see you there!

MORE EASTER GOODIES... Here are the projects we made at my Stamp-of-the-Month class in February, featuring the set "A Good Egg" - just click on the pictures for a closer look... I fell in love with this card when I spotted it on SplitCoastStampers & it's almost identical to the original, made by the talented Amy Gwinn. This cute basket template came from the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website - here we made it from Stampin' Up!'s Certainly Celery Prints paper. The eggs were coloured with markers & the Aqua Painter (my favourite tool for colouring!) If you've spent any time at all reading through stamping blogs (at least the GOOD ones), no doubt you've come across the name Andrea Walford. Andrea is a very talented stamper who loves to share her creativity with others and insists that even the "non-creative" people of the world can make simple, beautiful cards, scrapbook pages and gifts through rubber stamping. Hi, I'm Donna Henley, and I've been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2002 and a long-time scrapbooker/amateur photographer before that. I have two grown kids and a SUPER-SUPPORTIVE husband who doesn't mind a little ink under my fingernails & glitter in my hair. Since 2002 when I first discovered Stampin' Up!, my hobby has gradually grown ... and as of January 2008, it is now my full-time job; I'm my own boss at last - WAHOO!!!
