We're coming down to the wire ... Valentine's Day is almost here. Don't cave in at the last minute and rush out to buy some meaningless factory-produced card this year - make it yourself!
It doesn't have to be an elaborate work of art - a few stamps, paper doilies, punches ... whatever you have on hand will do. You can call it retro, nostalgic, whimsical or frugal - but a hand-crafted card means so much more to the person on the receiving end!
Here's today's idea ...I made this card with the folks out at Guelph Lake Commons earlier this month, and again at my "Quick & Easy" card class on Tuesday night. The Big Shot die cutter sure can save time; especially when you need to make a lot of cards at once!
SUPPLIES:
Papers - Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, Old Olive & Whisper White card stock
Stamps - "Love You Much"
Inks - Chocolate Chip Classic ink, Pretty in Pink & Old Olive Markers
Accessories - Big Shot machine, Beautiful Wings Embosslet die, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Scallop Trim Border punch (FREE Sale-a-Bration product!)
Wish you had a Big Shot machine, but can't afford the expense all at once? Good news! I have room for one more person in my new Big Shot Club - our first meeting is Tuesday Feb 23rd ... pay for your machine in four easy installments while you get 4 free classes, 4 free Sizzlet dies, and one month of free level one hostess benefits! Contact me for more details - that last spot could be yours!
cheers
I love this card. I also liked the challenge. It game me some more resources to go and search. THanks for sharing and allowing me to check out some of the other demonstrators in our group.
