A FOND FAREWELL

Sorry guys, I forgot to post this link to show you which colours Stampin' Up! will be retiring on July 1st...

RETIRING COLOURS

If you have any favourites on this list, I recommend you stock up on re-inkers, card stock, etc by June 1st. After that date, Stampin' Up! can only fill orders as long as their supplies last.

Then, on July 1st we'll have all the new colours to play with ... I'm pretty excited about that!!

TECHNIQUE: STAMPING OFF STAMPING OFF (also called Second Generation Stamping) is a great stamping technique to use on your creations ... it can age and add texture to a project, it gives the look of several shades (or is that hues?) of one colour, and it can also give the illusion of movement, such as in the first card below, created by fellow demonstrator Rachel Bleich or the second one by Carol Fraley ... HOW TO: There are two ways to use this technique: 1) ink up your stamp, and stamp it onto your project over and over again without reinking between images....

MARINA MIST I don't usually work Sundays, but this past week has been topsy-turvey to say the least .. so it's catch-up time today... I wanted to share this beautiful card made by fellow demonstrator Diana Gibbs ... using MARINA MIST, one of the new colours we'll get to play with (come July) in Stampin' Up!'s new COLOUR RENOVATION ... it's BEE - UUU- TIF --- UL!! Diana says it's kinda like the retiring colour Brocade Blue, only better! You may wonder why Diana already has the new MARINA MIST in her hands and I don't? Well, she's a really talented stamper...
