IT'S A MORE COLOURFUL WORLD TODAY!

Stampin' Up! just announced to their demonstrators that our traditional colour families will undergo a COLOUR RENOVATION in the new 2010-2011 IDEA BOOK & CATALOGUE (coming July 1st, 2010) ...

and I for one am really EXCITED, because this renovation means we're keeping FRESH, ORIGINAL, AND TRENDY with our colour pallets .. AND some IN-COLOURS are coming back too!!!

The four new colour families will be the BRIGHTS, the SUBTLES, the REGALS and the NEUTRALS, with 10 colours in each family. 

Now some colours are retiring, some are staying on, some are shifting to a new family, and best of all, there will be five brand new colours introduced into the new families to round out the collection to 40 colours in total.

Plus we'll still get 5 new IN-COLOURS every July, giving us LOTS of colours to play with, so it's all good!

Here's a list of the retiring colours ... if you own any of them you'll want to order a re-inker soon so you can continue to enjoy stamping for a good long while. (I re-ink my pads about once a year)....

FROM THE BOLD BRIGHTS: GLORIOUS GREEN, GREEN GALORE, GABLE GREEN, YOYO YELLOW, ONLY ORANGE, PINK PASSION, PIXIE PINK, ORCHID OPULENCE, LOVELY LILAC AND BRILLIANT BLUE.

FROM THE EARTH ELEMENTS: CLOSE TO COCOA, CREAMY CARAMEL, REALLY RUST, RUBY RED, CAMEO CORAL AND SUMMER SUN.

FROM THE SOFT SUBTLES: PALE PLUM, BLUSH BLOSSOM, APRICOT APPEAL, BARELY BANANA, MELLOW MOSS, SAGE SHADOW, ALMOST AMETHYST AND LAVENDAR LACE.

FINALLY, FROM THE RICH REGALS: BORDERING BLUE, BROCADE BLUE, BALLET BLUE, TAKEN WITH TEAL AND HANDSOME HUNTER.

I hear you gasping, but don't worry ... the remaining 19 colours, plus the 6 neutrals, plus the 10 returning IN-COLOURS and the five new colours all fit together in the four new families really well, covering all the colours of the rainbow in a wide variety of hues ... just wait til you see them together!

MELON MAMBO, PACIFIC POINT, TANGERINE TANGO, RIVER ROCK, SOFT SUEDE, RIDING HOOD RED, RICH RAZZLEBERRY, WILD WASABI, PINK PIROUETTE AND BAJA BREEZE ... I can hear the screams of glee from here, lol!
