QUILT RETREAT UPDATE

I'm home! What a wonderful treat it was to leave everything behind for 48 hours and go to Lesley's beautiful home to work on my quilt! I now see why retreats are so popular; you can get sooo much more done when the usual distractions are removed from the equation.

Each of us worked side-by-side on our own sampler quilts ... each square on the quilts feature different Big Shot dies... yes, you CAN cut fabric on the Sizzix Big Shot; up to eight layers at one time!

Thank you so much Lesley and Ted for your warm hospitality and entertaining stories over dinner; thank you Ruth for driving us up to Lesley's, lugging all my gear in and out of the car, and enjoying the "scenic route" that I navigated on the way home <wink>.
