FALL IS IN THE AIR

... and it's a pretty blechy Fall so far - cold and damp is NOT my favourite type of weather!

Still, I can always come downstairs to my studio and create some warm, crisp Fall colours on my cards .. which is exactly what we did at last night's QUICK & EASY card class.

Notice anything familiar about the second card from the left?

My inspiration, layout AND colour choices all came from the cover of Stampin' Up!'s new Colour Coach - well. it was just laying there on my worktable and I thought, "Why not?"

Hey, I've gotten my inspiration from stranger sources than that, let me tell you!

STAMPS: All Holidays & Vintage Vogue

INKS: Not Quite Navy, Always Artichoke, Early Espresso & Elegant Eggplant

PAPERS: Always Artichoke & Sahara Sand card stock

ACCESSORIES: Jewels: Basic Pearls (# 119247, $6.50, pg 188)

NOTE: the larger half pearl in the centre of the blue flower came from my (now retired) Pretties Kit ... I'm trying to use up my stash!
