Happy New Year to all my Stampin' & Scrappin' friends ... may your year be FULL of creative opportunities to rejuvenate you and bring you pleasure!
My resolution in 2011 is to take one afternoon every week to stamp and create, just for the fun of it! I think it will be Mondays - can't think of a better way to start off the week!
(Oh, and in case my hubby is reading this, my second resolution is to clear out the stuff in my stampin' studio that I don't use anymore, wink)
... What's your resolution? Post it here in the comments section of this post and next Sunday I'll randomly draw one entry to send you some blog candy from Stampin' Up!'s new Occasions Mini catalogue!
And don't forget that my Boxing Week Sale AND the Holiday Mini catalogue both end tomorrow, January 3rd. Don't miss out on your share of free product - check out the post at the top of the screen for all the details. Offer ends Monday at midnight!
Happy New Year!
Hmmmm... possible freebie for openly airing a New Year's resolution? I AM IN BABY! I do resolve to have all my Christmas cards for 2011 done by June of this year so I don't go through the heartache I did this year, of mailing them out on the 26th of December...*sigh*

WOW, that's a tall order Reita to finish your Christmas cards by June! If anyone can do it, it's you, girl! I've got your back & will schedule lots of GNOs and early Christmas card classes to help you along, ok?

My New Years resolution is to work up the nerve to finally enter a sketch challenge. I see such beautiful work by other stampers and I just don't feel my cards are good enough. Well, this year I want to enter a card just to say I did it.
Thanks for a chance to win some candy. Happy New Year!!

Babe - just GO FOR IT!
I was nervous the first few challenges I entered too, but you'd be amazed how well it gets the creative juices going, even when you don't think you have anything. I look forward to seeing your work!!

My New Years resolution is to set aside more time to stamp/scrap. I have all this wonderful stuff but busy-ness gets in the way and I don't use it nearly enough!

What a great resolution. Mine is to work on my Christmas cards and handmade gifts throughout the year, rather than just in November/December. I would also like to make some cards to give to a local cancer support group for their fundraising.
Thanks for your generosity and creative inspiration. Wishing you everything wonderful in 2011.

Dana - it's soooo true! Life gives us so many distractions in this day and age that we have to "book an appointment" with ourselves to create! When is your next "appointment"??
Posted by: Donna Henley | January 06, 2011 at 10:16 AM
Yvonne - that's a great resolution too! Besides spreading the work over a longer time, it gives you a steady flow of fun creative time AND you can keep a better "inventory" of your supplies.
I had a look at my stash yesterday, after a busy Oct-Dec in my studio and I really need to stock up on the essentials again, like adhesives and card stock. I see a big order in my future, lol.

My resolution is to take every Thursday afternoon to work on my blog and do some creating! I always say that I am going to do it but then I never do.

Janessa ... good one! Once you get started, you'll really enjoy blogging; trust me - it's addictive!

thanks for the chance to win
my resolution is just like yours:
once a week to spend some "me time"

My new years resolution is every Friday I'll update my blog. Or I'll make it twice a week. And then share my knowledge when it comes on making stamps and cards. Thanks for sharing your post.
