FREE CHALKBOARD

P1010002a I just installed Stampin' Up!'s newest Chalkboard Decor Elements piece in my office ... take a look! It's made of chalkboard-treated vinyl and it's 16" tall by 8' wide; plenty of room for writing down my to-do list.

I got this for free through Stampin' Up!'s SALE-A-BRATION promotion - just by ordering $60 worth of products, I got to choose one of eight new products in the SAB brochure (or I could have chosen one of 69 different stamp sets from the current 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue - all 69 are listed in the back of the SAB brochure.)

MAKE IT FROM SCRAPS The frugal stamper is very pleased with this weekend's creations ... I started out with an old issue of Sheetload of Cards from 2007 and I ended up putting together a class that shows you how to make tons of cards while using up your stash of leftover card stock, designer papers, ribbons and embellishments - you know, the stuff that's too small to make anything with but too pretty to throw away? <wink> For this class you'll get to pick your favourite colours from a large selection of pre-cut pieces. When you go home, you'll have 12 finished cards...
